Educational Qualifications (For Both Primary and LT Computer Education Positions)
General Requirements:
- All training courses must be recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
- Passing the relevant Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is mandatory:
- Assistant Teacher (Primary): UTET-01/ CTET-01
- Assistant Teacher (LT) Computer Education: UTET-02/ CTET-2
Assistant Teacher (Primary):
- Applicants can qualify through one of the following options:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject + Two-year Diploma/ D.El.Ed./ B.T.C. in Primary Pedagogy recognized by the Government.
- Intermediate + Four-year Bachelor’s degree (B.El.Ed.) in Primary Pedagogy.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject + Two-year diploma in pedagogy (special education).
Assistant Teacher (LT) Computer Education:
- Applicants can qualify through one of the following options:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science OR BCA degree.
- LT Diploma from a recognized institution + B.Ed. degree.
- B.Tech/ B.E degree in Computer Science.
