1. Eligibility and Provisional Acceptance

   • Candidates who register by the closing date and meet the terms and conditions of the examination notice will be assigned Roll Numbers and issued Admission Certificates (AC).
   • Applications will not be scrutinized in detail for eligibility before the written examination; thus, candidature will be provisionally accepted.

2. Admit Card Issuance

   • Admit cards for all examination stages will be issued online through the websites of the respective Regional Offices.
   • Candidates should regularly visit the official SSC Headquarters website (ssc.gov.in) and Regional Office websites for updates.

3. Exam Details and Centre Information

   • Information regarding the examination (including timetable, city, and centre details) will be uploaded on the concerned Regional Office’s website approximately two weeks before the exam date.

4. Communication Guidelines

   • For any communication with the Commission, candidates must provide:
     • Registration Number
     • Roll Number
     • Registered Email ID
     • Mobile Number
     • Full Name
     • Date of Birth
     • Name of the Examination

5. Admit Card Download

   • The facility to download admit cards will be available 3-7 days before the exam on the respective Regional Office’s website.
   • Candidates must bring a printout of the Admission Certificate to the examination hall.

6. Documents to Carry

   • Along with the Admit Card, candidates must bring:
     • Two recent passport-sized colour photographs.
     • Original valid Photo ID proof (with Date of Birth as printed on the Admit Card), such as:
       • Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar printout
       • Voter ID Card
       • Driving License
       • PAN Card
       • Passport
       • ID Card from University/College/School
       • Employer ID Card (Govt./PSU)
       • Ex-Serviceman Discharge Book issued by the Ministry of Defence
       • Any other photo ID issued by Central/State Government

7. Additional Document for Date of Birth Proof

   • If the Photo ID does not include the Date of Birth, candidates must carry an original document as proof of Date of Birth, such as:
     • Matriculation Certificate
     • Marks Sheet issued by CBSE/ICSE/State Boards
     • Birth Certificate
     • Category Certificate

8. Discrepancy in Date of Birth

   • In case of any mismatch between the Date of Birth on the Admit Card and that on the Photo ID/Certificate, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
