Physical Fitness:

Minimum Physical Standards for Candidates:
- Height: 137 centimeters
- Weight: 25.4 kilograms
- Chest: Chest expansion should be at least 3.8 centimeters, regardless of chest size.
Note:
If a candidate does not meet the above physical standards, but is certified by a Medical Officer (not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon, Gazetted) as physically fit for apprenticeship in a specific trade under the Apprentices Act, 1961, the candidate may still be considered eligible for engagement in that trade.
