Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

(A.)

• Matriculation (10th standard) or SSLC plus an ITI certificate from recognized institutions of NCVT/ SCVT in one of the following trades: Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/ Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Mechanic.
• OR Matriculation (10th standard) or SSLC plus completion of Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in any of the aforementioned trades.

(B.)

• Matriculation (10th standard) or SSLC plus a three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering.
• OR Combination of various streams within these Engineering disciplines from a recognized institution, in place of an ITI qualification.

Note: A degree in the specified Engineering disciplines is also acceptable in place of a Diploma in Engineering.

These qualifications are required for candidates applying for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) position under the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
