Qualifications for Geologists: Applicants must meet the criteria that follows in order to be eligible for the Geologist position with the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC):
A diploma in applied geology from the Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad, or an equivalent degree approved by the government, OR a postgraduate degree in geology or applied geology from an Indian university recognised by law.
Qualifications for an Assistant Mining Engineer:
Candidates must fulfil one of the requirements that follows in order to be eligible for the position of Assistant Mining Engineer at RPSC:
A diploma in mining engineering from the Indian School of Mines & Applied Geology, Dhanbad, OR AMIE (Mining Engineering) Part A&B from the Institution of Engineers, OR any other degree acknowledged by legislation in India as a university
