Eligibility : Join the Indian Army in 2025—SSC NCC Special Entry Scheme
Hey everyone! Thinking about joining the armed forces and have an NCC ‘C’ certificate? You might be eligible for some special entries! I’ve broken down the key qualifications you’ll need, straight from the official notification (always double-check the official source, though!).
Here’s the lowdown on what it takes:
- Academic Prowess: You’ll need a degree from a recognized university (or something equivalent) with at least 50% aggregate marks. This means across all the years of your degree. Final year students can also apply, but they need that 50% aggregate in the years they’ve already completed. Just remember, if you get selected, you must maintain that 50% overall in your final year, or your selection will be cancelled. No pressure! 😉
- NCC Experience: You gotta have some time under your belt in the NCC. We’re talking a minimum of two or three years (depending on the division/wing) in the Senior Division/Wing. So, make sure your NCC service is well documented.
- ‘C’ Certificate Grade: This is a big one! You need a minimum of ‘B’ grade in your NCC ‘C’ Certificate exam. And, importantly, you must have that certificate in hand when you apply. No certificate, no application, unfortunately.
