Eligibility Criteria : Indian Army TES 53
- Academic Qualifications:
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Marks obtained in Class XII will be considered for calculating PCM percentage.
- JEE (Mains) 2024: Must have appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2024 examination.

Indian Army TES 53 Selection Process:
Shortlisting:
- The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) shortlists applications based on their own criteria and sets a cutoff mark.
- Shortlisted candidates are notified via email about their allotted Selection Centre.
Selection Centre (SSB):
- Only shortlisted candidates attend the SSB interview at one of four locations: Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), or Kapurthala (Punjab).
- The SSB interview is a two-stage process: Stage I and Stage II.
- Candidates who fail Stage I are returned on the same day.
- The SSB interview lasts five days. Details are available on the official website https://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/.
- Recommended candidates undergo a medical examination.
Medical Examination:
- Candidates recommended by the SSB must undergo a medical examination by a board of doctors.
Joining the Army:
- Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit receive a joining letter for training based on merit and available vacancies.
- Selected candidates will be required to sign bonds and certificates similar to NDA cadets.
- Arm/Service allocation is at the organization’s discretion.
