The minimum educational qualification required for selection to the post of Gram Kachahari Sachiv is Intermediate (10+2) passed or an equivalent qualification recognized by the State Government.
A merit-based panel will be prepared for the selection of candidates.
Marks preference will be given as follows:
- 10% marks for candidates holding a graduate degree.
- 20% marks for candidates holding a postgraduate degree.
Candidates will receive an additional 2.5% marks for every full year of service as a Gram Kachahari Sachiv. If a candidate has served for more than six months in a given year, that period will be considered as a full year, and 2.5% marks will be added. However, the total weightage for service years cannot exceed 12.5%.
In case of a tie in merit marks, the candidate with the higher age will be given preference.
