- Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent.
- A 2-year diploma in elementary education or equivalent.
- OR
- A minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 or equivalent.
- A 2-year diploma in elementary education as per the NCTE regulations 2002.
- OR
- A minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent.
- A 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) degree.
- OR
- A minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent.
- A 2-year diploma in special education.
- OR
- A bachelor’s degree and a 2-year diploma in elementary education or equivalent.
- Relaxation:
- Reserved category candidates (SC, ST, OBC, and PwD) are eligible with 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks.
- Note:
- Candidates with a B.Ed. degree are not eligible as per the Supreme Court’s ruling dated 11/08/2023.
- For Sanskrit Primary Teachers (Sanskrit), a minimum qualification of Uttar Madhyama with Sanskrit literature/grammar from a recognized institution/board, along with a D.El.Ed. degree, is required.
