Part 1: General Science (60 questions, 60 marks)

• Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Home Science, Environment (equal number of questions from each subject)
  • Questions will be based on the 11th and 12th standard (general and practical) syllabus of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education.

Part 2: General Studies (20 questions, 20 marks)

• History of Chhattisgarh and its contribution to the Indian Independence Movement
• Geography of Chhattisgarh, climate, physical features, census, archaeological and tourist sites
• Economy of Chhattisgarh, forests and agriculture
• Administrative structure of Chhattisgarh, local government and Panchayati Raj
• Industries, energy, water, and mineral resources in Chhattisgarh
• Current events in India and Chhattisgarh

Part 3: General Knowledge of Computers (20 questions, 20 marks)

• Computer usage – Where and why computers are used, general knowledge
• Major parts of a computer – CPU, input devices, output devices, general knowledge
• Types of printers – inkjet, laserjet, and other types of printers
• Operating system names – MS DOS, commercial and open-source operating systems
• General knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint under Microsoft Office, useful for office use
• Internet usage – email, document searching, website surfing, general knowledge of various government department websites
• Antivirus usage – Damage caused by computer viruses and general knowledge of computer viruses
• Multimedia usage – General knowledge of using audio, video, and text
• General knowledge related to CD/DVD
• General knowledge of Google, AltaVista, YouTube – How to obtain desired information from a search engine
• Artificial Intelligence

Alternative Ways to Express the Syllabus

Part 1: General Science

This section covers a broad range of scientific topics, from the biological sciences to environmental studies. Questions will be based on the high school level science curriculum.
