Eligibility Criteria : BTSC Dentist Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have completed MBBS graduation or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Indian university that is approved by the Medical Council of India (M.C.I.) (now National Medical Council (N.M.C.)).
- The candidate must be permanently registered under the Bihar and Orissa Medical Act 1916.
For Candidates with Foreign Degrees:
- Candidates who have completed a 4.5-year MBBS course followed by a 1-year rotating internship from a foreign university and have passed the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by MCI (now NMC) will have their degree recognized, provided the foreign university is listed by the MCI.
- These candidates will be considered eligible for the General Medical Officer (GMO) post.
Training and Experience:
- A compulsory 12-month internship at a hospital/institute recognized by the Indian Medical Council and the Government is mandatory.
- The internship must be continuous, with no breaks allowed for any reason.
