Eligibility Criteria : BCECE Bihar Senior Resident/Tutor Recruitment 2024
Position Allocation:
- 40% of Senior Resident/Tutor positions will be filled from Bihar State Health Service cadre members.
- 40% will be filled from doctors who completed postgraduate degree courses (residency scheme) from state medical colleges.
- 20% will be filled from doctors with postgraduate degrees from recognized institutions outside the state.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.
- In case of a shortage of qualified candidates, a diploma in the specific subject is acceptable.
Additional Points for Diploma Holders:
- Diploma holders will receive an additional 10 points, equivalent to those with a postgraduate degree.
- However, they will be ranked below postgraduate degree holders on the merit list.
Eligibility for Equivalent Degrees:
- Candidates with equivalent postgraduate degrees as per the Medical Council of India’s teacher eligibility criteria are also eligible for selection.
