Bihar Polytechnic Notice 2024
Counseling Information: After the DCECE, counseling details will be communicated to candidates based on their merit position. Updates will be available on the BCECE Board’s official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in, and through newspaper publications.
Merit-Cum-Choice Basis: Candidates will have the opportunity to choose their preferred institute and course based on their merit and the choices they make during counseling.
Online or Offline Counseling: The mode of counseling (online or offline) will be determined by the Board.
Seat Allotment Criteria: Allotment of seats will be done on a merit-cum-choice basis, considering available vacancies and reservation rules prescribed by the Bihar Government. Each institute will be considered as a unit for seat allocation in the reserved category.
Document Verification: Candidates must undergo scrutiny and verification of their original certificates and identity. Eligibility will be confirmed based on this verification process.
Medical Examination: Eligible candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination by the specified date mentioned in their allotment order. Admission will be contingent upon passing this medical examination.
Errors in Result/Merit List: Candidates cannot claim allotment based on any errors that may occur during the printing or publication of results or merit lists.
How to Apply for Bihar Polytechnic Counselling 2024
Accessing the Online Counseling Portal: Candidates should click on the “Online Counselling Portal of DCECE-2024” to begin the choice-filling and counselling process.
New Registration: To start, candidates need to click on “Click here for New Registration” and enter the required information on the computer screen.
Login and Choice Filling: After successful registration, candidates can log in using their user ID and password. They can then proceed to fill their choices of institutes and trades according to their preferences.
Editing Choices: Candidates have the flexibility to edit their choices until the specified last date as per the schedule provided.
Choice Locking: Once satisfied with their choices, candidates must lock them within the stipulated time frame. If they wish to make changes after locking, they can unlock their choices by verifying the OTP sent to their registered mobile number and email ID.
Re-locking Choices: After making changes, candidates should re-lock their choices to ensure they are finalized. Choices that are not locked by the last date will be automatically locked.
Printing Choices: It is important for candidates to take a printout of their filled-out choices and keep it safe for future reference.
OTP Authentication: The processes of registration, choice locking, and unlocking are secured through OTP authentication sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID. This ensures authenticity and prevents unauthorized changes.
No Second Chance: Registration and choice-filling for online counseling are one-time processes. Candidates who do not register or fill out their choices in the first round will not be eligible for registration or choice-filling in subsequent rounds of online counseling.
